Nike Club Run LA - Cinco de Mile
By Special K • Mar 29th, 2006 • Category: Events
Nike Club Run LA is back! The next series is the Nike Cinco de Mile. Last year’s inaugural one-mile run took place in downtown LA and brought a turnout of 5,000 enthusiastic runners!
This year the 2nd Annual Nike Cinco de Mile race will focus only on youth runners on race day, which is on Sunday April 30th. As a result the training program will shift to accommodate kid friendly hours. Here’s your chance to get the whole family involved in running. Hope to see you all there!
Where & When can you and your kids train?
Tuesday (3/28-4/25)
4:30PM: Hollywood Boys & Girls Club, 850 N. Cahuenga Boulevard, Hollywood
Wednesday (3/29-4/26)
4:30PM: Venice Boys & Girls Club, 2232 Lincoln Boulevard, Venice
Thursday (3/30-4/27)
4:30PM: East LA Boys & Girls Club, 324 N. McDonnell Avenue, Los Angeles
Saturday (4/1-4/29)
8:30AM: Starbucks Ladera Center, 5301 Centinela Boulevard, Ladera Heights
Visit the NikeGo website for more information about youth activities in your area.
Just a reminder - this year’s race day is only a youth race.

Where is the Cinco de Mile kids run and how do I register my boys?
Thanks,
Tim Hall
Tim,
Thanks for your interest in Just Breathe.com as well as this year’s Cinco de Mile run. I have updated justbreathe.com with the latest information provided to us by Nike. Make sure to register your children as soon as possible, as registration is limited to 5,000 runners this year. You can pick up all the race specifics at any local Los Angeles branch of the Boys and Girls Club.
