How often do you go out for a run with no identification? I am the first to admit it’s something I often forget. I think, as runners, we feel that we are invincible, that we can run miles from home, on foot, and nothing is even going to happen to us. Well accidents happen, and they are never planned, so it’s a good habit to have some contact information on you when you run. I suggest your name, emergency phone number, allergies, and medical problems at a bear minimum. As an ER nurse there is nothing worse than trying to find personal information on an unconscious patient.

I personally love the idea of the RoadID. I purchased one for my wrist a few months back. They also make them for your shoe or ankle.
