Another great event for kids, brought to you by the good folks at Nike. Join Nike on May 4, 2008 for the Nike 5K for Kids.

Due to an overwhelming three day sell out in 2007, the 2008 Nike Women’s Marathon registration will be held through a random drawing process. This was announced online today on Nike’s official Nike Women’s Marathon website.

Early Bird registration for the Long Beach Marathon (and Half) ends this Friday, February 29th. There is still time to sign-up for this flat, fast and scenic course to be held on Sunday, October 12, 2008. To register online go to Active.com.

It’s not too late to sign-up as a volunteer for the LA Marathon on March 2nd!!
There are openings at most of the water stations.
